A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated Billing Specialist to join a high‑performing London Finance team. Working closely with the London Finance Manager, you’ll play a central role in ensuring the smooth, accurate, and timely delivery of the firm’s billing operations across multiple offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the accurate and timely execution of complex billing, ensuring all invoices meet internal standards and client‑specific requirements.
- Manage the review and editing of pre‑bills in line with partner instructions, providing clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Produce monthly pre‑bills for the London office and support other international offices when required.
- Respond promptly to billing‑related queries, meeting with partners where necessary to resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships.
- Prepare disbursement back‑up documentation in accordance with client guidelines.
- Ensure all daily tasks comply with SRA and HMRC regulations.
- Confirm appropriate approvals for special rates and agreed discounts before billing.
- Build an understanding of the firm’s matters to support efficient billing cycles, including following up with partners and fee‑earners on WIP to meet tight deadlines.
- Produce and submit e‑billed invoices with precision and attention to detail.
