We are seeking an experienced Bids & Pursuits Manager to lead the development of high-quality, client-focused proposals within a leading international law firm. This is a strategic and hands-on role, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver compelling bids that drive business growth and improve win rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end bid and pursuit process, from opportunity qualification through to submission and post-bid review.
  • Develop clear win strategies and value propositions aligned to client needs.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to shape and deliver high-impact, client-centric proposals.
  • Drive best practice bid management, ensuring consistency, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Analyse bid performance, feedback and data to improve outcomes and win rates.
  • Coach and support junior team members and contribute to a high-performing business development culture.

About You

  • Proven experience (5+ years) managing bids/pursuits within professional services or a similar environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop successful win strategies and compelling written proposals.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring others is advantageous.
