Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a Paralegal to join the Antitrust & Competition team of a top US law firm on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be supporting Associates and Partners with legal and administrative tasks on transactional work.

Duties will include:

  • Carrying out desktop research on target business activities and areas of overlap between merging parties.
  • Assisting with multi-jurisdictional filing analysis, including for foreign investment reviews.
  • Research on precedent cases, including with respect to relevant market definitions.
  • Research on points of law and process.
  • Case management, sharing and filing relevant documents.

To be considered, candidates must hold a law degree, some prior experience within Antitrust and/or Competition and strong interpersonal skills. This role is eligible for hybrid working (4 days in the office and 1 from home) and a competitive annual salary plus paid overtime.
