Ryder Reid Legal seeking a junior Accounting Assistant to become a vital part of our prestigious, international law firm clients London Finance team. The role offers a hybrid working policy as well as presenting a great career opportunity in legal finance. Reporting to the London Finance Manager, you will support billing, accounts payable, and cashiering functions. Key Responsibilities: Billing: Assist in producing and reviewing pre-bills for multiple offices. Ensure timely and accurate billing, responding promptly to queries. Understand various matters to maintain prompt billing cycles. Prepare disbursement documentation and ensure compliance with SRA and HMRC legislation. Monitor group mailboxes and follow up on outstanding tasks. Ensure approval for special rates and accurate e-Billing. Accounts Payable: Review invoices and expense claims for accuracy and compliance. Maintain master Vendor records and adhere to call back procedures. Post overhead invoices and handle related inquiries. Cashiering: Assist with bank reconciliation and payment posting. General Duties: Support the Accounts team in various accounting and finance functions. Assist with reconciliation reports. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Qualifications and Skills: Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude. Enthusiastic and eager to learn. Excellent communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Professional 2016. Detail-oriented with strong proof-reading and research skills. Strong time-management and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
