We're working with a leading law firm looking to hire a Senior Client Account Specialist to manage billing and collections for a key group of partners and practice areas. This is a senior, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a client-focused, fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple finance functions.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the full billing and collection cycle for assigned partners, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and client compliance
- Regularly monitor AR reports, follow up on unpaid invoices, and resolve underpayments
- Prepare detailed client invoices, ensuring adherence to Outside Counsel Guidelines and engagement terms
- Submit e-bills using Billblast or other client platforms and track processing updates
- Support system updates and test billing functionalities for finance improvements
- Lead monthly billing and AR review meetings with partners, providing insights and guidance
- Maintain clear documentation of partner billing expectations and client-specific requirements
- Collaborate with internal finance teams to improve reporting and billing workflows
About you:
- Legal billing/revenue/client account experience, in a law firm environment
- Advanced Excel and confident communication skills
- Strong client service mindset with a keen eye for accuracy and process improvement
- Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage complex financial matters independently
