Resource Allocation Manager - International Law Firm

An international law firm is seeking an experienced Resource Allocation Manager to join its corporate division in London. This is a highly visible role partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure legal talent is effectively deployed across a busy and growing practice. The ideal candidate must have resource management, workforce planning, or legal operations experience gained within a law firm or professional services environment. The Role Working closely with partners and business services teams, you will take ownership of workforce planning and resource allocation across the corporate practice group. Key responsibilities Managing the allocation of lawyers across client matters and projects Acting as the primary contact for resourcing requests and workforce planning discussions Monitoring utilisation, capacity and staffing levels to identify trends, risks and opportunities Advising partners on upcoming resource requirements based on pipeline activity and business needs Coordinating resource planning around annual leave, absences, secondments and other staffing changes Supporting the development of lawyers by helping ensure exposure to appropriate work opportunities About You Previous experience within a law firm or professional services environment A background in resource management, workforce planning,...
