Job Description

Receptionist – 6-month FTC | International Law Firm | Liverpool Street

Are you a professional and personable Receptionist with experience in a corporate office environment? Do you thrive in a fast-paced setting where attention to detail, confidentiality, and client service are paramount?

We're pleased to be working with a prestigious international law firm located in the heart of London. Known for its collaborative culture and commitment to excellence, the firm is seeking a confident and proactive Receptionist to join their front-of-house team on a 6-month fixed term contract.

What does this role offer:

  • Competitive salary up to £36,000 DOE
  • Prime City of London location
  • Great working schedule – Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
  • Professional and friendly working environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for clients and visitors, delivering a warm and professional welcome
  • Managing incoming calls, messages, and the switchboard
  • Booking and preparing conference rooms using the booking system
  • Coordinating taxi bookings and issuing security passes
  • Reporting and following up on facilities issues
  • Maintaining the Reception Manual and phone directory
  • Supporting the Director of Administration with ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Providing occasional cover for catering staff
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required

  • Prior experience as a receptionist in a corporate or legal environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Professional and upholding standards when client facing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems
  • Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and maintain confidentiality
  • Professional, proactive, and highly organised team player
