Learning & Development Officer / IT Trainer

Location: Bristol

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Are you passionate about delivering impactful learning experiences and driving professional development? A leading UK law firm is seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Officer to join their Human Resources team, focusing on business systems training and induction programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging business systems training across virtual and face-to-face formats.
  • Lead induction programmes aligned with the firm's L&D strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support IT system changes and upgrades.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and design tailored learning interventions.
  • Assist in the creation and quality assurance of electronic learning materials.
  • Maintain accurate training records and support evaluation of learning outcomes.
  • Prepare learning environments and resources, including IT setup.
  • Stay current with L&D trends and request training as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Recognised training qualification (e.g. CIPD, TAP).
  • Proven experience as an IT Trainer, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills.
  • Solid understanding of the training cycle and L&D principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
