The role
In your new role as Learning & Development Assistant you will be supporting the Learning & Development Manager and working closely with colleagues across HR and the wider global Professional Development function, you will play a key role in the administration and coordination of learning initiatives for trainees, associates and business services professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering learning programmes through the firm's Learning Management System (LMS), including attendance tracking, evaluations and training records.
- Updating and maintaining Professional Development intranet pages.
- Booking training rooms, coordinating catering and maintaining programme schedules.
- Processing invoices and monitoring training-related budgets.
- Coordinating trainee review processes and maintaining trainee records.
- Managing trainee training schedules and liaising with external training providers.
- Assisting with enrolment onto SQE and related training programmes.
- Maintaining SRA Development Plans and supporting regulatory compliance processes.
- Contributing to AI-related initiatives and wider firm projects as required.
What do you need?
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
- Up to one year's experience within Learning & Development, Professional Development or a similar administrative role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Confidence using learning systems, databases, spreadsheets and other technology platforms.
