Our client is a leading global law firm, headquartered in New York City, renowned for its expertise in transactions, litigation, and regulatory matters. The firm is known for its innovative, collaborative, and client-centric approach, consistently delivering high-quality legal advice and achieving the best outcomes for clients.
The role
In your new role as a HR Generalist / HR Advisor, you will provide HR support to the fee earner function in the London office by coordinating attorney onboarding and departures, performance evaluations, leave administration and mentorship programs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating administrative matters related to attorney benefits, family leave (maternity and paternity), sickness and other leaves of absence.
- Assisting the HR Manager and Senior Graduate Recruitment & Development Manager with attorney and trainee related employee relations issues.
- Interacting daily with partners, attorneys, secretaries and staff regarding attorney policies and procedures.
- Managing attorney reasonable adjustment requests and acting as the key liaison with their external workplace needs assessment provider.
What do you need?
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Previous experience working as a HR Generalist / HR Advisor within a Law firm.
- Experience dealing with ER cases.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and work in an environment with shifting priorities.
- Demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
