We are recruiting for an HR Advisor to join the London office of a prestigious US law firm on an 18-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

This role offers broad HR generalist exposure within a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing maternity, paternity and shared parental leave processes.
  • Supporting employee relations, absence management and occupational health cases.
  • Overseeing UK immigration and sponsorship matters.
  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Supporting flexible working requests, secondments and HR projects.
  • Producing HR reports, drafting correspondence and responding to employee queries.
  • Assisting with HR systems and process improvement initiatives, including Workday.

About you

  • Previous HR experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and immigration processes.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Workday experience would be advantageous.
