The firm is seeking an experienced billing professional to manage complex, multi‑jurisdictional billing processes and support the delivery of the revenue function. This role combines hands‑on billing and supporting junior team members.

Responsibilities
- End‑to‑end billing - Billing and eBilling for London and international offices, ensuring timely and accurate invoice generation.
- Stakeholder management - Work closely with Partners and clients to resolve billing queries and ensure compliance with client guidelines.
- Supervision - Provide supervision, guidance and mentorship to junior billing staff.
- Technical support - Deliver technical guidance and training to other teams as required.
- WIP monitoring - Monitor WIP proactively and address issues to support billing targets.
- Working capital support - Produce WIP and billing reports.
- Policy development - Assist in developing and rolling out billing policies, procedures and system enhancements.
- Audit & compliance - Support audits and compliance initiatives related to billing and revenue recognition.
- Statutory compliance - Ensure compliance with HMRC, tax requirements and SAR.
Person Specification
- Legal billing experience - Proven experience in legal billing, from a global law firm environment.
- Systems expertise - Strong understanding of billing systems (Elite 3E, Aderant) and financial reporting tools.
- Regulatory knowledge - Solid understanding of the Solicitors' Accounts Rules and VAT requirements for law firm billing.
- E‑billing proficiency - Experience using multiple eBilling platforms and managing rejections/disputes.
- Communication - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across departments and cultures.
