An international US law firm is seeking a skilled Revenue Controller to join its London team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Revenue Manager, this role plays a vital part in managing billing, collections, and financial controls across the UK and US offices.
Core responsibilities:
- Preparing bills and e-bills with full compliance across VAT, AML, and SRA guidelines
- Managing time transfers, write-offs, and billing queries, liaising directly with attorneys
- Leading on WIP and AR meetings with Partners, tracking engagement and recoverability
- Maintaining accurate revenue records and providing weekly updates to the Revenue Manager
- Collaborating with New York Accounting on matter set-up and billing templates
- Generating reports and overseeing prospective time and missing engagement letters
- Supporting billing-related email traffic and acting as the main point of contact on revenue issues
- Contributing to wider finance projects and providing team cover as needed
About you:
- 3+ years' experience in revenue control, within a law firm environment
- Strong working knowledge of 3E and e-billing platforms
- Advanced Excel skills and a methodical, detail-focused approach
