A leading US law firm is seeking an International Tax Manager to join its London office. This is a high-impact role supporting the firm's worldwide tax compliance and advisory work, with a particular focus on offices across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

The position also involves regular interaction with external advisors, partners' accountants, and tax authorities across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on domestic and international tax considerations for cross-border matters, including indirect taxes (VAT/GST).
  • Oversee transfer pricing compliance.
  • Manage tax compliance obligations such as tax returns, transfer pricing filings, and related submissions.
  • Advise on global mobility issues, including permanent establishment considerations.
  • Lead and coordinate responses to tax audits and inquiries, working closely with Finance teams.
  • Conduct tax research projects, monitoring legislative changes and briefing advisors where relevant.
  • Support senior stakeholders on international tax aspects of firm-wide strategic and operational projects.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting teams globally to ensure tax positions are accurately reflected.
  • Engage with external tax advisors as required, managing cost efficiency and value delivery.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong background in international taxation, ideally gained within a global partnership environment.
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.
  • Experience collaborating with teams across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated ability to research overseas tax rules and apply them to practical scenarios.
