Legal Biller – London Law Firm

A leading London law firm is seeking a capable and detail‑focused Legal Biller to join its Revenue Control team. This is a hands‑on, process‑driven role where you'll take ownership of key billing activity and help ensure the smooth running of the firm's financial operations.

\\n\\n

Law firm billing experience, using Elite 3E, is required for this role. Hybrid is 2 days in office, 3 from home.

Key Responsibilities

\\n\\n

 

\\n\\n

Manage the end‑to‑end billing process, ensuring all invoices are accurate, compliant, and issued on time.Prepare, review, and edit proformas and pre‑bills, liaising with partners and fee‑earners to finalise billing.Produce and distribute invoices, including complex and composite bills, and create tailored narrative where required.Handle credit notes, write‑offs, WIP/disbursement transfers, and maintain accurate billing data on client and matter files.Attend monthly WIP meetings, actioning follow‑ups and supporting tight billing deadlines.Respond promptly to internal and external billing queries, taking ownership of outstanding items until resolved.

Law firm billing experience is essentialStrong working knowledge of Elite 3E is essentialExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical ability and a high level of attention to detail.
