We’re recruiting a General Maintenance Worker to help make a difference in the lives of the people we support.
We are one of the leading providers of services to people with learning disabilities and/or autism on the Isle of Wight. We are committed to continuous development and have a passion for supporting our staff to progress and grow within their career in order to continue providing an excellent level of care.
At a 300+ team, we are full of character and skills and are looking to add even more to that. As the company is growing, so are the needs for more talent to come in and deliver a quality service.
You will perform a range of tasks from painting and decorating, to plumbing and general maintenance tasks. The ability to work well within a team is essential, as you will be working alongside the maintenance team to maintain our Residential and Outreach properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to drive since we have locations across the Isle of Wight.
The current working hours are 40 hours per week, with the usual pattern being 8:30am to 4:30pm weekdays. You will also be required to work on-call, on a rota basis.
