Overview
In this role at Stansted, you ensure high technical standards across contracted heavy maintenance providers for Ryanair’s fleet. You will work with MRO partners, review their practices, and drive improvements to meet safety and quality benchmarks. The role involves travel, cross-functional collaboration, and shaping maintenance processes within a dynamic, safety-focused environment. You’ll be an enabler of best practices and robust corrective actions across multiple airlines in the group.

Responsibilities
- Conduct independent reviews of technical standards at contracted MROs
- Identify improvements in supplier processes and Ryanair interface agreements
- Promote industry best practices across contracted heavy maintenance providers
- Review customer audit findings and ensure robust CAPA implementation
- Analyze safety, maintenance error, and near-miss reports; identify trends and actions
Key requirements
- Heavy/base maintenance experience with Boeing and/or Airbus
- Detailed working knowledge of EASA Part CAMO and Part 145 regulations
- Degree in engineering or EASA/UK Part 66 AML
- Right to live and work in the UK and travel within Europe
- Desirable: experience as a senior mechanic or certifying staff in an airline MRO organisation
