Overview

In this role you will support the Line Maintenance Manager to ensure safe, compliant and efficient line maintenance operations across an expanding fleet. You will coordinate day-to-day line activities, maintenance planning, and resource allocation while upholding EASA/UKCAA standards and company procedures. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to maintain audit readiness and safety culture. This is a growth-focused position reporting into Line Maintenance and aligned with Ryanair’s large-scale fleet expansion and guest service goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day line operations
  • Coordinate aircraft maintenance planning and rostering
  • Monitor maintenance activities and provide management coordination
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with approved data and company procedures
  • Update line maintenance procedures for continued compliance with EASA/UKCAA
  • Ensure sufficient personnel to plan, perform and certify maintenance
  • Ensure tools, equipment and materials are available
  • Coordinate line maintenance with MCC, Maintenance Stations, Materials, Quality/Compliance, Planning and Commercial
  • Promote a safe working environment within the safety management system
  • Identify and manage safety risks with Safety department
  • Cooperate with Safety and Compliance for safety investigations
  • Assist and coordinate base openings, scope changes and continuation audits for Part 145 operation
  • Oversee closure of audit findings with Compliance and National Aviation Authorities

Key requirements

  • recognised aircraft engineering qualification
  • Line maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of airworthiness regulations (EASA Part-M / Part-145)
  • Knowledge of AMOS or similar maintenance/engineering system
  • Flexible in fast-changing environments
