Overview
In this role you will serve as a B2 licensed engineer based at Stansted, rotating on 4N4O and 2N2D shifts to support Ryanair’s fleet. You will perform routine servicing, defect rectification, and AOG recovery, while upholding safety and compliance. You will also supervise and mentor apprentices and junior mechanics in a fast-changing environment. This position offers hands-on maintenance work within a high‑growth, European airline context, with meaningful impact on aircraft availability.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing and defect rectification on Ryanair 737-800 and fleets
- Coordinate Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery to minimise downtime
- Maintain safe, compliant working environment and follow procedures and regulations
- Supervise and mentor Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices
- Liaise with Stansted Station Manager and cross-functional teams
Key requirements
- Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential)
- EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B2 License (Essential)
- Boeing 737-NG Type Endorsement & Recency (Essential)
- Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Essential)
- Good IT literacy; AMOS experience (Desirable)
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK and Full UK Driving Licence
- 5 years of maintenance experience (if using UK CAA license)
