Overview
In this role you will perform structural maintenance on a Ryanair fleet as part of AES, working at Stansted with minimal supervision. You’ll handle repair work and apply approved methods to 737, A320 and Learjet airframes, contributing to fleet reliability. The position involves hands-on metal work, documentation-based repairs, and mentoring sheet metal technicians. You join a fast-moving, aviation-focused environment with a clear channel to advance your career within a leading European airline. You will work shifts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold safety and airworthiness.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural maintenance on the 737-700/800, , A320 and Learjet fleets
- Execute metal work tasks: grinding, drilling, riveting, bending, anti-corrosion protection
- Utilize tools and machinery (bending machines, guillotines, drills, grinders)
- Determine repair solutions in accordance with documentation and implement them
- Support and train Sheet Metal Technicians
Key requirements
- Extensive structures experience
- EASA or UKCAA B1 license with type rating
- Excellent knowledge of aviation materials
- Knowledge of technical drawing
- Manual skills and precision
- Willing to work in shift system
