Overview
In this role you will lead base maintenance activities and certify Cat C final CRS for a Boeing 737-800, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality workmanship.
You work with zone supervisors to maintain safety, documentation accuracy, and efficient use of staff.
You’ll perform line maintenance as needed and drive task completion within targets, while upholding company procedures and health and safety policies.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a hangar environment with a focus on regulatory adherence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Authorize high-cost spares and manage the spares shortage list to ensure timely orders
- Support and assist zone supervisors
- Maintain high-quality work standards for self and subordinates
- Ensure tasks comply with Regulatory Authorities, MOE, Procedures, and Personal Authorization Certificates
- Complete allocated tasks within target timelines
- Enforce company regulations, discipline and working practices among supervised manpower
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Policy within responsibility areas
- Ensure aircraft documentation is completed accurately per procedures and workplace instructions
- Carry out Line Maintenance duties when designated by Hangar Manager/Supervisor
- Ensure effective utilization and improved efficiency of staff under supervision
- Perform other tasks as reasonably required by Hangar Manager/Supervisor
- Key requirements
- B1 license with Boeing 737-800 type rating
- C Licence is a distinct advantage
- Extensive aircraft experience, preferably with some supervisory level
- Unrestricted right to work in the UK
