Overview
In this 24-month Junior Aircraft Engineer Programme at Stansted, you embark on structured training to become a licensed engineer. You will complete a blend of theory and hands-on practice across two phases, enabling you to apply for your CAT A, and eventually B1 or B2 licenses. You’ll join Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline, and contribute to its engineering team while developing a long-term aviation career. This is a chance to start in a high-growth environment with a clear licensing trajectory.
Responsibilities
- participate in a two-phase training programme within the Engineering department
- complete theory and practical training to build engineering competencies
- progress to licensing applications (CAT A, B1 or B2) upon programme completion
- demonstrate safe working practices in a highly regulated aviation environment
Key requirements
- Passed all Basic B1 and/or B2 Modules from a Part 147 Approved School
- Certificate of Recognition from an EASA Part 147 Approved School
- UK Passport or EU Passport with Pre-Settled or Settled Status
- Full clean UK/EU Driving Licence
- Be able to work and live in the UK
- Good basic hand skills
- Must have initiative and be self-motivated
- Passion for aviation and desire to build a career in Aircraft Engineering
