The Training and Development Co-ordinator is responsible for managing the OET training schedule and supporting the development of Junior Aircraft Engineers (JAEs). This role requires strong planning, communication, and organisational skills to ensure training activities are executed efficiently and meet organisational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Planning and Organisation
- Co-ordinate the OET training schedule.
- Plan and schedule all training sessions: plan the timelines, frequency, and specific dates for all training sessions. This involves balancing trainer availability, room bookings, and trainee shift patterns to prevent conflicts and ensure smooth operations.
- Create, implement, and update instructor timetables to optimise teaching capacity and resource utilisation.
- Develop and maintain a clear communication plan to effectively inform trainees, instructors, and managers of upcoming sessions and updates.
- Program Co-ordination and Implementation
- Implement the training programme and provide ongoing support and guidance to participants throughout their learning journey.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Junior Aircraft Engineers, offering advice and assistance as needed.
- Track and monitor JAE progress, ensuring all trainees meet required milestones and targets.
- Gather and analyse feedback from participants and trainers to support continuous improvement of training content and delivery.
- Monitor, assess and track individual logbook progression, ensuring compliance and timely completion.
