If so, our Trainee Mechanic Programme might be the perfect fit for you! AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for Trainee Mechanics to be based at Birmingham Airport, working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline.
As part of our continuous growth plan, we are seeking to recruit Trainee Aircraft Mechanics for our initial 12-week training programme based at one of our industry-leading Maintenance facilities. Our Trainee Mechanic scheme is designed to provide hands-on training and valuable experience to individuals interested in pursuing a career as an Aircraft Mechanic and Engineer. Under the guidance of our experienced team, trainees will have the opportunity to learn essential skills and techniques required to build a new career within aviation. Following graduation from the 12-week training programme, successful candidates will then be based at our Birmingham Line Station.
Responsibilities
- Supervised scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance tasks on Ryanair’s Fleet of Boeing 737-800 and 737-8200 aircraft.
- Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery support.
- Base Husbandry and Housekeeping.
- Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all company procedures, policies and regulations.
- Any other tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager.
