AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for Sheet Metal Workers to be based at Stansted Airport, working in cooperation with our client Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with existing Sheet Metal experience, who will work without direct supervision and be able to demonstrate a flexible working attitude in a fast-changing environment.

Duties as a Sheet Metal Worker:

  • Maintenance on the Ryanair’s fleet of Boeing 737-700/800, B737-8200, A320 and Learjets.
  • Your daily work will require you to perform tasks such as: Grinding, drilling, riveting, bending, anti-corrosion protection, etc.
  • Working with tools such as bending machines, guillotines, drills or grinders.
  • Working on the aircraft: working for the most suitable repair solutions in accordance with the documentation and their implementation.

Requirements:

  • Must have 5 years Sheet Metal Experience.
  • Basic knowledge of materials used in aviation.
  • Knowledge of technical drawing.
  • Manual skills and precision, attention to detail.
  • Willing to work in shift system.
  • Team player.
  • Right to work and travel in the UK and in Europe.
