Carry out TIG welding on aluminium, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium components. Maintain a high standard of workmanship across all assigned tasks. Complete all required maintenance documentation in line with company procedures. Assist in the organisation and evaluation of repairs. Support with ordering and tracking of materials and spare parts. Follow all company regulations, procedures, and health & safety policies. Work collaboratively with experienced engineers and support the skills development. Carry out additional duties as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Practical experience in TIG welding, particularly with aluminium, Inconel, or titanium, is essential.
  • Knowledge of general sheet-metal work or tinsmith practices would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and the ability to interpret technical information.
  • Experience in component inspection or compiling work packs is desirable but not essential.
  • Must have, or be willing to work towards: Company Component Release Stamp (CRS) approval, CAA welder’s approval.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Willingness to work shift patterns (including occasional nights or weekends).
  • A flexible and proactive approach to working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
