Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAM) is one of four heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair’s entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland. We are currently recruiting for a PACE Mechanic to join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks as required in relation to Passenger Cabin Enhancement.
  • Responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks as required by Zone Engineer in support of Aircraft.
  • Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks.
  • Complete the appropriate documentation.
  • Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Ensure the company Health & Safety policy is adhered to at all times in the workplace.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management / supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Previous aircraft maintenance experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Background in engineering / maintenance is essential.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
  • Must be available to work a Permanent Night Shift.
  • Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
  • Successful candidate must provide a clean Disclosure Scotland to work at UK Airports.
