Aircraft Engineering Services, the Engineering Delivery Partner for Ryanair UK, are looking for a Junior Finance Administrator / Apprentice to assist our current team with the day-to-day accounting procedures.
The responsibilities of the role are varied but will involve assisting the Finance Officer with the daily finance duties. If you have a good understanding of excel, quick to learn and have an attention to detail we would like to hear from you.
As a business, we provide on the job training, as we continue to grow our business.
The Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following:-
- Reconciling Invoices.
- Liaising with Vendors and Contractors.
- Keeping of records and invoices.
- Maintaining efficient recording of Spreadsheets.
- Identifying and reconciliation of accounts discrepancies.
- Participate in payroll processes.
- Reporting on finance projections.
- Reconciling the Business bank statements monthly.
- Onboarding of new starters
Requirements
- You must have a British Passport, Settlement Status or indefinite leave to remain in the UK to apply for this role. We are unable to offer sponsorship for the role.
- Hardworking & keen to learn.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Time-management and organization skills.
- Ability to deal with confidential documents and information.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures would be desirable, but an eagerness to learn this would be acceptable.
- Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or in a similar role would be desirable, however we would also be very interested in you, if you show a passion for finance and starting out in your career.
- Previous experience with an accounting software would be desirable.
- This role will involve extensive use of MS Excel, so good knowledge is essential.
