Due to our continued growth, we are recruiting for an Engineering Training Lead. The successful person will be responsible for ensuring:

  • Delivery of theoretical and practical commercial aircraft 737NG and 8200 Training to meet 145 and 147 engineering requirements.
  • Development and review of Engineering training material and practical training facilities to meet operational training demands.
  • Responsibility for the continued validity, duration and delivery of all training conducted at the Ryanair Group Training Facility.
  • Hold daily/weekly meetings and provide effective reporting.
  • Oversight of the planning and delivery of line maintenance trainee programs to support annual targets.
  • Oversight of Apprenticeship programs within England and Ireland.
  • Oversight of the review of trainee manpower metrics to support fleet and business growth.
  • Oversight of Training Planning and Records Management.
  • Ensuring the compliance of all approved training and examination with the requirements of the PART-145, including corrective action of negative findings from the independent audit system.
  • Preparing and updating maintenance training course schedules and instructor schedules.
  • Ensuring sufficient qualified staff and adequate facilities, equipment and materials are available to perform the range of training and examinations/assessments undertaken.
  • Maintaining the training elements of the MOE and department handbooks to the requirements of PART-145.
  • Ensuring all nominated staff are fully trained and assessed regularly for competence and that all records pertaining to these personnel are kept up to date.
  • Developing and maintaining training programs to meet the requirements of Ryanair Engineering operations.
  • Ability to manage and maintain training instructors, equipment and facilities.

Requirements

  • Must hold at least 5+ years of experience in a Training environment.
  • Must Hold UK/EASA Part 66 Licence or Aerospace Engineering degree or have evidence 5+ years of previous employment in Part 145 aircraft technical training.
  • Strong capability to demonstrate a ”hands on” attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to build and deliver effective training programs to meet the above-mentioned training requirements.
  • Clear communication (written).
