Ryanair Engineering delivered by Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd are currently recruiting a Shift Support Manager to join our highly skilled team at Stansted Airport working a 2D2N rotating shift pattern. Reporting to the STN Line Manager, the successful candidate will work directly with the Engineering Shift Leader to ensure the efficient and effective management of the operation. We are looking for a dynamic, highly organised and aspiring individual who wishes to work within a fast paced and highly rewarding environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the STN Station Manager
  • Central role in the management of the shift
  • Assist the Duty Shift Leader with the day to day running of the busy line station with 50+ night-stopping aircraft
  • Communicate with various external stakeholders as well as Ryanair Maintenance Control
  • Complete engineering investigations following any accidents or incidents as well as being fully involved in any disciplinary issues
  • Ensure compliance with all company procedures and policies
  • Ensure shift reporting processes are followed

Requirements:

  • We are looking for a motivated self-starter with managerial experience who is ready, willing and able to lead technical teams in a diverse and fast-changing environment.
  • The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and effectively communicate progress to Senior Management.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience within the Aviation or Engineering sector is essential.
  • Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer).
  • Experience using AMOS Software (Desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Applicants must have unrestricted right-to-work in the UK and hold a valid Full-UK Driving Licence.
