Ryanair UK is currently recruiting for a Compliance Monitoring Auditor & Safety Officer to join our Operations team of Europe’s largest airline group. This is an excellent time to join Ryanair Group as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests per year within the next 10 years.
The Role: As a Compliance Monitoring Auditor & Safety Officer you will gain experience across a wide range of flight operations and ground operations activities. We are looking for a person who is keen to learn and quick to adapt. Reporting to the Ryanair UK Compliance Monitoring Manager – Operations, the successful candidate will ensure that our Crew and Handling Agents across the UK and Europe are operating to regulatory requirements and company procedures. This is an exciting way to gain knowledge and experience of Ryanair flight operations and ground operations. This will equip you with the skills to take into other parts of the airline if you wish.
The Compliance Monitoring Auditor will be based in Stansted, United Kingdom and will be expected to travel across the network undertaking audits. Your duties will include:
- Monitoring compliance with Regulatory requirements (UK and EU)
- Monitoring compliance with Ryanair’s policies and procedures
- Conducting Operations Compliance Audits/Inspections to verify compliance and adequacy of procedures required for a safe operation and management of the associated processes
- Working closely with the Flight Operations and Ground Operations departments to resolve compliance issues
- Providing internal communication regarding compliance issues
- Tracking of applicable regulation changes and regulatory divergence
- Planning audits, executing and writing audit reports
- Liaising with managers from different departments as required
- Distributing minutes & action items and accumulating reports from each department / preparing presentations (as applicable) for Safety & Compliance Meetings (MEP, SSRB, SAG)
- Distributing reports / findings received from the CAA for follow up and response
- Attending meetings as required in the absence of the Safety / Compliance Manager
- Managing Safety Office Training records and administration
- Maintaining Safety Risk Register
- Updating and maintaining tracker for Safety Performance Indicator’s (SPI’s)
- Additional administrative projects for Safety & Compliance as required
Requirements:
- Right to live & work in the UK

- This position requires you to travel across our network
- Operations experience is desired but not essential
- Experience in Compliance Monitoring System/Auditing will be an advantage
