Overview
This role involves supervising manpower and planning, organizing repairs, allocating tasks, and ensuring documentation in accordance with maintenance and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Supervise & organise manpower and planning
- Organise and evaluate repairs
- Allocation and prioritisation of tasks and management of technical jobs
- Ordering & progressing spares
- Ensuring documentation is completed correctly in accordance with maintenance and company procedures
- Ensuring that company regulations and policies are enforced
- Ensuring the work area and environment are kept clean and tidy at all times
- Developing skills of all staff, including apprentices and trainee mechanics
- Assist with & carry out composite repairs
- Any additional tasks allocated by management

Qualifications
- Previous experience of supervising / managing manpower essential
- Ability and willingness to train non-skilled personnel
- MRO composite repair workshop/hangar environment preferred
- Fully conversant with use of hot bond equipment (Heatcon)
- Conversant with handling and storage of all composite materials
- Metal bond experience essential, flight control surface and nacelle experience desirable
- Fibreglass & Carbon wet layup repair experience essential
- Fibreglass & Carbon pre-impregnated repair experience essential
- Experienced in Inspection and creation of work cards /work packs essential
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential
- Willing to work shifts (including nights)
- Flexible approach to working in a fast changing environment
