AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) welcomes applications for Trainee Mechanics to be based at Manchester Airport, working in cooperation with our client airline Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline. As part of our continuous growth plan, we are recruiting trainees for an initial 12‑week training programme at one of our industry‑leading maintenance facilities. The scheme is designed to provide hands‑on training and valuable experience for individuals interested in pursuing a career as an Aircraft Mechanic and Engineer. Following graduation, successful candidates will be based at our Manchester Line Station.

Responsibilities

  • Supervised scheduled and non‑scheduled maintenance tasks on Ryanair’s fleet of Boeing 737‑800 and 737‑8200 aircraft.
  • Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery support.
  • Base husbandry and housekeeping.
  • Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all company procedures, policies and regulations.
  • Other tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.

Requirements

  • All candidates must have a clean criminal record, a full manual driving licence and possess an unrestricted right to live and work in the country in which the role is located, with a valid passport to work within that country.
