AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) is inviting applications for Sheet Metal Workers to be based at Stansted Airport, working in cooperation with our client Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline. The successful candidate will be a self‑motivated individual with existing Sheet Metal experience, who will work without direct supervision and can demonstrate a flexible working attitude in a fast‑changing environment. With 600 aircraft, including the introduction of the Boeing 737‑8200 “Gamechanger” and a growing Ryanair UK Fleet of 737‑800, Ryanair offers exceptional career opportunities and progression within the industry.
Duties As a Sheet Metal Worker
- Maintenance on the Ryanair’s fleet of Boeing 737‑700/800, B737‑8200, A320 and Learjets.
- Daily tasks include grinding, drilling, riveting, bending, anti‑corrosion protection, etc.
- Work with tools such as bending machines, guillotines, drills or grinders.
- Work on the aircraft: provide the most suitable repair solutions in accordance with the documentation and their implementation.
Requirements
- Must have 5 years of Sheet Metal experience.
- Basic knowledge of materials used in aviation.
- Knowledge of technical drawing.
- Manual skills and precision, attention to detail.
- Willing to work in shift system.
- Team player.
- Right to work and travel in the UK and in Europe.
