Due to our continued growth, PAML in association with Ryanair are recruiting a Technical Training Instructor to join the Engineering Training department. The successful candidate will promote training and serve as an ambassador to support the highest standards we maintain within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of all technical training to engineering staff to the highest industry standards, including but not limited to business-needs training across all airlines within the PAML Group, Part 147 theoretical and practical training, specialized type-specific training, and development of instructor materials (course outlines, lesson plans, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
  • Convey training for Part 147 and other EASA-regulated courses, ensuring regular review of procedures and regulations.
  • Develop and approve training material using various delivery methods such as classroom, eLearning, and virtual.
  • Maintain and develop the training centres for further learning enhancements across all levels.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on attitude and strong organizational skills to deliver effective training programs.
  • Communicate clearly (written & oral) and present confidently.

Key Qualifications

  • Must hold EASA Part 66 Licence or an Aerospace Engineering degree, or have evidence of previous employment in aircraft technical training.
  • Ability to meet requirements to deliver Part 147 training.
  • Experience in aircraft engineering and working physically on the aeroplane.
  • Experience reviewing regulations/compliance-based procedures.
  • Attention to detail and ability to raise issues to management.
  • Planning and deadline-management skills.
  • Good knowledge of Office 365 and willingness to learn new software.
  • Effective communication and interaction across diverse teams.
  • Open-mind, eagerness to learn new skills, and ability to bring new ideas.
  • Strong work ethic, responsibility, and timely completion of work.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to present solutions to management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid EU passport and willingness to travel as required.
