Ryanair Engineering, delivered by Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd, is currently recruiting a Shift Support Manager to join our highly skilled team at Stansted Airport, working a 2D2N rotating shift pattern. Reporting to the STN Line Manager, the successful candidate will work directly with the Engineering Shift Leader to ensure the efficient and effective management of the operation. We are looking for a dynamic, highly organized, and aspiring individual who wishes to work within a fast-paced and highly rewarding environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Reports to the STN Station Manager
- Central role in the management of the shift
- Assist the Duty Shift Leader with the day-to-day running of the busy line station with 50+ night-stopping aircraft
- Communicate with various external stakeholders as well as Ryanair Maintenance Control
- Complete engineering investigations following any accidents or incidents, and be fully involved in disciplinary issues
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures and policies
- Ensure shift reporting processes are followed
Requirements
- We are seeking a motivated self-starter with managerial experience, capable of leading technical teams in a diverse and fast-changing environment.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate progress effectively to Senior Management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in the Aviation or Engineering sector (essential)
- Full computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer)
- Experience using AMOS Software (desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Applicants must have unrestricted right-to-work in the UK and hold a valid Full-UK Driving Licence.
