Overview
Compliance Engineer – Technical standards role at Ryanair – Europe7s Favourite Airline. Based at London Stansted, to join our Technical Standards Department and work in cooperation with our client airline, Ryanair.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain Engineering Standards across all Line Stations to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Lead initiatives to improve compliance, share best practice and drive effectiveness of engineering processes.
- Conduct on-site audits and internal assessments to ensure adherence to company procedures (MOE/Handbooks etc) and EASA/UK CAA Part-145 and Part-M regulations.
- Engagement with Senior Management, Quality Assurance, Responsible Managers and stakeholders to ensure all non-compliances are appropriately actioned on time.
- Analysing non-compliances to develop and deliver specific task training for problematic areas to prevent reoccurrence.
- Liaising with the Technical Standards Department to standardise workflow and Line Station requirements across the wider Ryanair Group network.
- Collaborate with maintenance engineers and operational managers to support continuous improvement initiatives and remove barriers to effective compliance.
- Providing a consolidated weekly report to the Senior UK Management and Technical Standards Department, which shall include at a minimum the above-mentioned points.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field or hold an EASA/UK CAA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
- Proven experience in Aviation and Aircraft Maintenance, preferably within Line Maintenance.
- Excellent working knowledge of EASA/UK CAA Part 145 and experience in managing audits and compliance checks.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Essential) & AMOS Software (Desirable).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to motivate others in reaching the highest level of service and quality.
- Right to Work and live in the UK.
