As a recruitment partner for a number of airline clients including Ryanair, Crewlink is delighted to invite expressions of interest for Challenger 350‑3500 Captain roles in an exciting and rewarding 24/7 engineering support operation based in London Stansted. Although we do not have active Captain positions at present, we encourage you to register your details as an ‘Expression of Interest’. These unique positions are permanent and offer a fantastic fixed 4/4 roster pattern involving early and late (night) standby shift patterns. Successful candidates can expect to earn up to £121,500 p.a. (UK) and will have the opportunity to fly to any of the 240+ destinations across the extensive Ryanair Group Network. The type rating is provided with no upfront cost, subject to a three‑year training costs agreement.
Minimum Requirements- Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.
- Licence Type: Valid ATPL EASA or UK CAA issued Part FCL.
- Valid EASA or UK (Part‑MED) issued Class 1 medical certificate.
- English Language Proficiency – minimum required proficiency Level is Operational Level (Level 4). (Written proficiency is required at Operational level). (Reference: ICAO Doc 9835).
- Candidates who hold a valid Challenger 350/3500 rating will be given preference.
- Captains 3000 hours total with at least 1000 command hours in a Multi‑Crew, Multi‑Engine environment in a jet aircraft.
Candidates who are shortlisted will be required to complete a SIM assessment on a B737 FFS. The selection procedure takes place in Dublin (Ireland) or any other training centres used by the airline. Flights on the Ryanair Group network will be provided for you to attend. The day begins with an introduction to Ryanair and the recruitment team.
Pilots Can Expect The Following During The Selection Process- Pre‑simulator briefing.
- Company presentation.
- Simulator assessment – 45 minutes as both pilot flying (PF) and pilot monitoring (PM). Basic handling skills, CRM and flight management will be assessed.
- Technical assessment – 30 minutes assessing your technical knowledge on your current/previous aircraft type(s).
- Personnel interview – Approximately 30 minutes to convince Ryanair of your suitability to join the team and to prove that you are the sort of person who will thrive in an environment where hard work and effort are rewarded.
Those who emerge successfully from the various stages of the selection process will be offered a place on an upcoming course. Within 7 working days after the selection day, applicants will be contacted by phone or e‑mail with their assessment results, be it positive or negative.
