B2 Licensed Engineer – Birmingham Roamer
Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd, in cooperation with Ryanair, invites applications for the B2 Licensed Engineer role based at Birmingham Airport on 4N4O and 2N2D rotation, covering all line bases within the UK when required.
Who Are We Looking For
- UK CAA or EASA Part‑66 Qualified B2 Licensed Engineers with Boeing 737‑NG type rating (essential) and Boeing 737‑7/8/9 type rating (desirable).
- Existing line maintenance experience.
- Self‑motivated, able to supervise personnel and maintain a flexible working attitude in a fast‑changing environment.
Duties
- Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737‑800 and 737‑8200 fleet.
- Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all company procedures, policies and regulations.
- Supervise and mentor Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.
Requirements
- Aircraft line maintenance experience (essential).
- EASA or UK CAA Part‑66 B2 license holder (essential):
- Boeing 737‑NG type endorsement & recency (essential).
- Boeing 737‑MAX type endorsement & recency (desirable – type courses available).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential).
- Good IT literacy (essential), AMOS experience (desirable).
- Unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and a full UK driving licence.
*UK CAA licenses are accepted; however, applicants must demonstrate five years of maintenance experience and have completed, or be able to complete, EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) & Module 10 (Aviation Legislation).
