About the Appearance Department
The Appearance Department is responsible for the overall presentation of the Ryanair fleet — from cabin cleanliness to landing gear washes. We manage and audit a network of service providers, ensuring they consistently meet both our operational benchmarks and the expectations of our passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Appearance Manager and wider team, ensuring efficient day‑to‑day operations.
- Follow up with suppliers on matters relating to First Wave delays, ensuring timely responses and actions.
- Track and analyse supplier performance, using cabin crew and customer feedback to identify bases that may require operational visits.
- Monitor departmental KPIs, including budget tracking and task completion progress.
- Coordinate and arrange team travel, including booking flights, hotels, and updating team calendars.
- Track costs for ad‑hoc services in line with contractual agreements.
- Compile performance data for monthly supplier calls and support the development of monthly focus topics.
- Monitor and trend appearance‑related substandard reports to identify recurring issues or improvement opportunities.
- Provide cover for the Appearance Planning Engineer as required.
