Overview

Role: Aircraft Component Painter (Nightshift) – PAML

Responsibilities

  • Complete the appropriate documentation IAW company procedures.
  • Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks.
  • Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
  • Any other tasks as requested by supervisor / manager.

Duties Include

  • Paint preparation IAW A/C manuals.
  • Paint application IAW A/C manuals.
  • Complete the appropriate documentation IAW company procedures.
  • Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks.
  • Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
  • Any other tasks as requested by supervisor / manager.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Time-served automotive or component spray painters are strongly encouraged to apply, as their skills and experience are highly transferable.
  • Experience in aircraft or component spray painting desirable.
  • Knowledge and use of tools/equipment required to perform assigned job-related tasks is mandatory.
  • Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
  • Prepared to work shifts (nights).
  • Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
  • Candidates must have relevant trade qualifications. SVQ/City & Guilds etc.
  • All applicants must have an unrestricted right to work in the UK.
