Positions: B2 Licensed Engineer – Birmingham Roamer

Description
B2 Licensed Engineers are invited to be based at Birmingham Airport on 4N4O and 2N2D rotation but covering all line bases within the UK when required, working with Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline. Ryanair is a fast‑paced, dynamic airline with a fleet of 600+ aircraft, including the new Boeing 737‑8200 and 300 Boeing 737‑MAX 10 on order.
Who We Are Looking For
- UK CAA or EASA Part 66 Qualified B2 Licensed Engineers with Boeing 737‑NG Type Rating (Essential) and Boeing 737‑7/8/9 (Desirable).
- Self‑motivated with established line maintenance experience, able to supervise personnel and display flexible working in a fast‑changing environment.
Duties
- Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737‑800 and 737‑8200 fleet.
- Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
- Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all company procedures, policies and regulations.
- Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.
Requirements
- Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential).
- EASA or UK CAA Part–66 B2 License holder (Essential).
- Boeing 737‑NG Type Endorsement & Recency (Essential).
- Boeing 737‑MAX Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable – Type Courses Available).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Essential).
- Good IT Literacy (Essential), former AMOS Experience (Desirable).
- Unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK, and a Full UK Driving Licence.
- UK CAA Licences accepted; applicant must demonstrate 5 years maintenance experience and have completed, or be able to complete, EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) and Module 10 (Aviation Legislation).
