The Corporate Tax Assistant Manager supports the delivery of corporate tax advisory work, particularly in areas such as group structuring, reorganisations, shareholder planning, and transaction support. This role involves working closely with senior team members to assist in project execution, technical analysis, and client communications. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in maintaining quality and consistency across advisory deliverables.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and delivery of corporate tax structuring projects, including reorganisations, demergers, refinancing, and cross-border expansion.
- Prepare technical analysis, step plans, and draft reports under the guidance of Managers and Directors.
- Support the preparation of HMRC clearance applications and related documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure advice is accurate, commercially relevant, and aligned with client goals.
- Contribute to client meetings and communications, providing clear and timely updates.
- Help monitor legislative and case law developments relevant to corporate tax planning.
- Participate in identifying opportunities for advisory work within existing client relationships.
