The Business Solutions Specialist will play a key role in supporting innovation, transformation, and technology-enabled business initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for a motivated and tech-savvy professional with experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, operational improvement, and emerging technology solutions.

Working closely with practice areas, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help identify business challenges, gather and refine requirements, support innovation intake processes, and contribute to the development and implementation of workflow automation, process optimization, and AI-enabled solutions. This role is heavily focused on innovation and transformation rather than traditional process improvement. The successful candidate will support multiple concurrent initiatives, assist in developing proof-of-concept solutions, and help bridge the gap between business needs and technology-enabled outcomes in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders, practice areas, and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain effective communication across innovation and transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to identify business challenges and opportunities for technology-enabled improvements.
  • Engage with practice areas to gather, document, and refine business requirements and use cases.
  • Support innovation intake and discovery processes across multiple business functions.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for workflow automation, operational optimization, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Support the development, testing, and deployment of proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot solutions.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, follow-ups, and project activities across multiple concurrent transformation initiatives.
  • Assist stakeholders in translating operational challenges into scalable and practical business solutions.
  • Support innovation and transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and business effectiveness.
  • Contribute to projects focused on workflow automation, modernization, and enterprise AI capabilities.
  • Assist in mapping current-state processes and supporting future-state solution design.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and implementation activities across multiple workstreams.
  • Prepare presentations, status updates, reports, and supporting documentation for stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Analyze operational data, business feedback, and process pain points to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, automation trends, and enterprise AI developments relevant to the business.
  • Support the Business Solutions and Innovation team with additional strategic and operational initiatives as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required (Business, Technology, Operations, Information Systems, or related field preferred).
  • 2–5 years of professional experience in business analysis, innovation, transformation, operations, or technology-enabled business support roles.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and working with cross-functional stakeholders is preferred.
  • Exposure to workflow automation, operational transformation, or AI-related initiatives is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting proof-of-concept or pilot initiatives is considered an asset.
