Ryan has an immediate requirement for a Director to join our Investor Services team. Ryan works with some of the largest property owners, investors, and developers in the UK. We hold a strong client base that continues to grow year on year. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the team and will be responsible for managing key investor accounts, advising on strategies to manage their tax liabilities, identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding brand presence, and increasing company revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities (aligned with Ryan’s Key Results):

• Managing several of Ryan’s key investor client accounts.
• Providing strategic advice to clients and managing the resulting casework to conclusion.
• Identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business.
• Expanding our reach and brand presence through key networking events.

Education and Experience:

• A good knowledge of the property industry and UK property taxation (business rates) is essential.
• Experience dealing with property investors, developers, and owners is essential.
• Good knowledge of case law and legislation.
• Experience taking cases to Valuation Tribunal.
• Proven business development, sales, or marketing experience in the property industry is advantageous.
• Ability to grow the client base and manage own work.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen.
• No requirement to manage people, but a strong team ethic and close collaboration with other surveyors are expected.
• MRICS and/or IRRV qualification is preferable.

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
