As a Payroll Specialist, you will support the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. You will also contribute to process enhancement efforts, including helping to identify system best practices for the payroll function.

What will your job entail?
- Liaising closely with external payroll partners
- Inputting and uploading data into the payroll system
- Handling starter/leaver details and bank information
- Manually adjusting statutory maternity pay (SMP), statutory sick pay (SSP), pay rates, and other adjustments
- Maintain payroll records and prepare reports as needed
- Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to streamline payroll processes
- Perform monthly reconciliations and audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy of employee pay information
- Improve and implement processes between Workday and ADP ensuring internal controls are followed
- Owning payroll-related, monthly reporting process including preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts, P&L and Balance Sheet
- Act as main point-of-contact for employees on questions relating to pay
- Maintain and constantly updating the payroll process notes
- Support other administrative and ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
- Demonstrable payroll experience
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- ADP Celergo payroll system and Workday HCM experience is beneficial
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
