Position Summary
Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers International Ltd (RSUMI) working with Ryan Specialty Capital Management Ltd (RSCM), London, as our internal broker tasked with Binding Authority placement activity for policies issued by Ryan Specialty MGU’s are seeking to recruit a Delegated Authority & Broker Administrator responsible for the effective and efficient Delegated Authority and Broker Administration, within our Internal Coverholder and Broker function.

What will your job entail?
Responsibilities which will evolve over time but include
- Delegated Authority Support
- Maintain organised team documentation and shared resources across internal systems.
- File, manage, and ensure accuracy of all binding authority documentation within Ryan systems, including data entry for new and renewing agreements.
- Maintain trackers, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Ensure all Lloyd’s system requirements and amendments are accurately entered into the online systems, including completion of annual compliance checks.
- Verify that signed and documented Letters of Authority are in place, authorising Ryan to underwrite all relevant classes of business.
- Support adherence to Ryan binding authority policies, standards, and procedures.
- Broker Support
- Track outstanding information requests and proactively follow up with collaborators
- Support the development of presentations, pitches, and marketing materials
- Assist with meeting preparation, including materials, note-taking, and action tracking
- Assist with data collection, validation, and analysis for submissions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure consistency across reporting tools and systems
- Meetings & General Support
- Attend internal, MGU, and broker meetings and support with follow-up actions
- Handle general ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as required
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Support implementation of best practices across binding authority and broker workflows
Skills and Attributes
- Proactive, highly organized with good administrative skills.
- Accurate and numerate with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Computer skills - strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel).
- Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, who can work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Motivational skills, team worker as well as working on own initiative.
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise.
- Curious and motivated to learn
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Previous work experience and an understanding of Lloyd’s and Company Insurance markets are advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
- Familiarity with Lloyd’s systems including Atlas, DCOM, DAM systems also favorable but not essential as full training will be given.
