TSR Legal are delighted to be partnering with a well-regarded law firm in Exeter, who are seeking to expand the wider Real Estate team, with the addition of a Solicitor to work on Development matters. This role offers exposure to a broad range of residential investment and development work, including acquisitions, disposals, and asset management, as well as private residential development, local authority and registered provider housing projects, estate regeneration, and joint venture arrangements.

You will advise a diverse client base across both the private and public sectors, with a focus on investment, asset management, development, and strategic land transactions. The role will involve undertaking due diligence on medium to large-scale investment and development sites and assisting with acquisition and disposal documentation for mixed-use and residential-led schemes.

You will be involved in:

  • Advising on all property aspects of development and regeneration projects
  • Acting on a wide range of property matters for developers, investors, social landlords, government bodies, local authorities, and private sector clients
  • Supporting acquisitions of development sites for residential and mixed-use schemes
  • Assisting with asset management matters, joint venture projects, and large-scale accommodation developments
  • Advising on portfolio sales and acquisitions
  • Supporting Real Estate finance transactions, including preparation of CLLS Certificates of Title and management of conditions precedent
  • Managing your own files in line with your level of experience
  • Building, maintaining, and where possible initiating strong client relationships
  • Participating in and, where appropriate, leading marketing and business development
