The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.

Due to company expansion we require a Full time Class 1 Driver needed Based in Dundee. Monday to Friday including nights out, will be some weekend work when required. Experience is essential and over 25 with less than 6 points. Most of our work is general haulage throughout the UK mostly on curtain side trailers.

We need a driver who is willing to be part of a team and not just a number, Someone we can trust to get on with their week. One vehicle per driver so we require someone who will look after their vehicle and trailer and take pride in their job, This includes washing the unit and trailer and respecting the equipment! We could start the right candidate straight away.

Duties

  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the lorry by reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a maximum 6 points
  • Experience in Class 1 driving is essential, ideally also have tramping experience
  • Strong understanding of delivery processes and logistics.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations related to transportation.
