The Ryan Neuro Therapy Centre supports people with neurological conditions by delivering therapies to benefit their health and welfare. As a trustee, you will need to commit time to deliver on initiatives or projects related to your specialism. This role will help us ensure we can continue our support for members with neurological conditions. As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the everyday management of the charity and its strategic progression.
What are we looking for?
- You will need to demonstrate experience in bookkeeping and the use of financial accounting software.
- You will be expected to have at least 3 years experience in your specialism and take the lead in your area of expertise.
- You will need to be able to commit at least 10 hours a month to read and comment on reports, attend a monthly trustee meeting (normally held in the evening), reconcile financial transactions, and provide monthly reports to the board.
- You will have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work under your own initiative within a defined framework.
- MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
What will you be doing?
The Board currently needs volunteers to help deliver a challenging marketing and business plan. The Charity has recently expanded our therapy provision to support a wider range of neurological conditions, and we need enthusiastic Trustees to help in developing our business further and finding new income streams to support our work.
